Each lesson begins with stretching and breathing exercises to help open and align the body.  Once we have achieved body alignment we work to connect the breath steadily to tone working for consistency in the breath and the tone. This is followed by a slow and thorough warm-up of the vocal mechanism.

After the body begins to respond and the vocal mechanism muscles are stretched and warm we then begin to vocalize working the vocal registers and any problem areas using technical exercises.  These exercises are used to increase legato line, agility, understanding of vowel production, resonance, and general quality of your tone.

The remainder of the lesson time is used working to apply the achieved technical ability to your music.

Each lesson is customized to the student so the exercises are different and change according to progress. The beginner to intermediate student will spend more time with vocal and breathing exercises until they are more advanced.

Each lesson is 1 hour and is $90. A minimum of 2 lessons per month is required. Exceptions are made only for the most advanced students.

I do not accept students under the age of 16. Classical and Musical Theater students preferred!
